Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Survive 100 Days mobile game (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The Game is published by [Your name or company], contactable at [your@email.com]. It is distributed through Google Play.
1. The short version
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- You do not need an account. Your game progress is stored on your device.
- Advertising and crash-reporting services we use do collect device-level identifiers.
- If you post a score to the leaderboard, the nickname you type is stored on our server.
2. What is collected, and by whom
2.1 Stored only on your device
Your game profile — days survived, inventory, structures you built, quests, achievements, settings and daily-reward streak — is written to your device's private app storage. We cannot read it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the Game.
2.2 Collected by Google AdMob (advertising)
The Game shows rewarded video ads only, and only when you choose to watch one — for example, to revive after dying or to double a daily reward. There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt play.
To serve those ads, Google AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model, operating system version and coarse ad-interaction data. This happens inside Google's SDK; the data goes to Google, not to us.
Google's handling of it is described in the Google Privacy & Terms and the AdMob policies.
2.3 Collected by Google Firebase (analytics and crash reports)
| Service | What it collects | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics | Anonymous app-instance ID, device model, OS version, country, and gameplay events such as which day you reached and when a run ended | To see where the difficulty curve loses players, so we can rebalance it |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash stack traces, device state at the time of the crash, and the in-game day you were on | To find and fix crashes |
These reports are not linked to your name and we do not attempt to identify you from them. See Firebase privacy and security.
2.4 Collected by us (leaderboard only)
The leaderboard is optional. Nothing is sent to our server unless you submit a score. If you do, we store:
- a random identifier generated on your device — not linked to you, your Google account, or your device's advertising ID;
- the nickname you typed;
- your highest day reached, and your enemy and boss kill counts.
Your IP address is processed transiently to apply rate limits and is not stored alongside your entry.
2.5 Remote configuration
On launch the Game requests a small configuration file from our server so we can adjust game balance without shipping an update. This request carries no personal data — only your IP address, as any web request does. It is not logged against you.
3. What we never collect
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data
- Payment information — the Game does not currently sell anything. If in-app purchases are added later, Google Play processes payment and we never see your card details.
4. Permissions the app requests
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Ads, crash reports, remote config, leaderboard |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To detect whether you are online before attempting a request |
AD_ID | Required by Google Play for apps that use the advertising ID |
VIBRATE | Haptic feedback on hits. You can turn this off in Settings. |
5. Children
The Game is intended for players aged [13] and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at [your@email.com] and we will delete it.
6. How long data is kept
- Leaderboard entries: kept until you ask us to remove them.
- Analytics and crash data: kept according to Google's retention settings, which we set to [14 months].
- On-device data: removed when you uninstall the Game, or immediately if you use Settings → Delete Save Data inside the Game.
7. Your choices and rights
- Reset your ad identifier or opt out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Delete your local data: use Settings → Delete Save Data in the Game, or uninstall it.
- Delete your leaderboard entry: email [your@email.com]. The Game can show you your player identifier in Settings; include it so we can find the right row.
- Skip the leaderboard entirely: simply do not submit a score.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, port or object to the processing of your data — for example under the GDPR (EU/UK) or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). Write to [your@email.com] and we will respond within [30] days.
8. Where data is processed
Our server is hosted by Hostinger in [region — e.g. India / Lithuania]. Google's services process data in the regions described in their own policies, which may be outside your country.
9. Security
Traffic between the Game and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Leaderboard submissions are signed to deter tampering. No system is perfectly secure, but the data we hold is limited by design: a nickname, a random id and three numbers.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
